One of our assistant's will assist you into the room and prepare you for the scan which will be performed by a sonographer or a radiologist (radiographer or doctor with specialist training in ultrasound).A small hand held device called a transducer is gently moved over your skin to examine the area indicated. A clear gel is used between the transducer and your skin.We believe that whenever you have a scan the health and well-being of your baby should always be checked therefore, you will be provided with a report at the end of the scan which will display the various measurements taken and any related charts.
